Technical Analyst Intern
I was selected to take part in a summer internship at L Brands. My role was to create some much needed enhancements to a newly launched tool. The enhancements allowed internal merchants to complete tasks in a quarter of the time it previously took them. I was working on everything from frontend to backend to databases for this web based tool. I had a wonderful time learning from coworkers and hearing their stories.

Software Developer Intern
In my time at Forefront I was humbled how little I actually knew. I was mentored by a great young coworker and brought up to speed on creating quality websites and web applications. I learned a lot of JavaScript and PHP over that summer. The websites I created were mainly for small local businesses and I got to participate in some of the requirements gathering process. Overall this was a really eye opening and fantastic experience.

IT Technician
BrightEdge solutions was an interesting and entertaining job. No day was the same. Some days I would be running cat5e cable through a local hospital, other days I would be troubleshooting computers at a mechanics shop. I learned a lot about computer hardware and problem solving with computers in general. I was customer facing so it was great to be around people and help them.

Miami Club Soccer

Captain and President
I was elected captain and president of the Miami University Men's club soccer team. The job of captain included any soccer related functions such as organizing over 100 people for tryouts and facilitating the daily practices. As the president I was in charge of running the club doing things like overseeing the budget, scheduling matches, and handling logistics for games.

Interests
Things outside of professional life.
Ever since I was 6 have played soccer. In high school my senior year (2014) we won the Ohio D2 State Championship. In college I played for the Miami Men's soccer team.
When I was a kid my family and I would go to a sail camp every summer. Since then it has turned into a passion. Shown in the picture is one my Grandpa's two boats that he lets me use. (Interlake & Sunfish)
